David says the best writing advice he has ever received is to always be receptive to criticism, but never accept the judgement of one individual as final. Sounds like good advice to me!

MEGAN'S BIO
My first book to be published was a children's story, but mostly I write romance/ women's fiction.
In 'The Path of Innocence', my aim was to write a contemporary romance for women who understand that life is not clear-cut, that love exists in different forms, sometimes contradictory.
My current project, 'A Shore of Secrets' is another contemporary romance based in the Veneto region of Italy, a region I find inherently romantic.
Recently, I had two short stories published in the exciting new Alternative Read Anthology where we were given carte blanche to write what we liked! In it, I remain true to the theme of complex women, but with some quirky twists.
I live in a pretty village in the Essex countryside, UK, having 'escaped' from London several years ago. We are now empty-nesters apart from an adorable, but incurably mischievous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

The editor and publisher, Clayton C. Bye, is a business consultant, the owner of Chase Enterprises, and a writer. As well as fiction writing, he has written many non-fiction books.

Clayton says of the anthology, 'It is all about studying people in difficult situations, something every good writer loves to do. But the defining difference in our collection (18 stories by 15 authors) is that each writer was challenged to write a short story which would provide their readers with something beyond the norm, something truly different. Then we took away the rules and let them write whatever the hell they liked.
